Impact ON me: The camp experience enabled me to see my potential as a leader. It helped me to take more risks and trust others from a variety of backgrounds. The counselors introduced me to several creative problem solving techniques which I have applied in my career and personal life. I am truly grateful for the opportunity my school gave to me 17 years ago.
Impact BY me: I have made a positive impact on others' lives by volunteering in various community efforts, becoming a high school teacher and coaching.

Impact on me: Camp allowed me to learn more about myself and my own strengths and weaknesses, while also learning how to better interact and problem solve with others.

Impact on me: Discovered I am a "growing up"! Use the skills I learned in my classroom and now in my business. The family group time is awesome and is what helped me to return for 16 years.
Impact by me: I know I have affected many lives at camp - its just the way it works. Helped so many fine kids from Alden to have this amazing experience.

Going to this camp was an experience that i will never forget. The skills that i learned at camp will be applied to my daily activities for the rest of my life. I learned how to communicate better with others through many of the group activities. The counselors encouraged us to never give up, even when we were convinced that after a couple hours the task could not be a success. I learned how to be a better leader, and how to speak my mind, and not always stand back and watch, but to get involved. The best part about this camp was meeting so many new friends that I will continue to talk to. To use the leadership skills that i learned at camp, I have been volunteering with my community. Also i am involved with many different clubs and activities in our school.

Impact on me: When i first went to the camp it was kind of weird since I was out of my comfort zone. But as the days went on I made new friends and I learned many things. This camp helped me when i came back to school to have better team work and I figured out how to work with people when we have major disagreements. I had a fun experience there and I would hope that others can get the same experience that I did.

Impact on me: This camp was different then what I was used to, but it helped me in becoming a better leader. It taught me to lead by example and learn new skills I was unaware I had. It was also beneficial to learn more about being a great leader and meet new friends at the same time. The camp helped me because it taught me new leadership skills that I am now able to use in my everyday life at places such as school, clubs and sports.

Impact on Me: Leadership camp had an impact on me because it made me more aware of myself. There was a lot of time given to us to reflect on ourselves and what we hope to gain from life. The biggest influence camp had on my life was my choice to dance again. I'd planned on quitting, but camp discussions I had at camp showed me that I'd miss it too much. Lastly, I made a lot of new friends and it improved my social skills with people I don't know.
